The Accidental Seller - Me!

I've always had stretch marks.  In fact I couldn't remember not having them since I have always been a big girl.  During my teenage years, they weren't very visible; but as I neared 30 and became pregnant, they really started to become very prominent.  Not to mention really ugly.

My problem areas are my arms.  I had red and silver stretch marks which ran down the length of my arm. I thought they would lighten or fade after I gave birth, but they actually became much worse. All I could do was wear shirts or blouses with sleeves whenever we went out and hope that people won't stare or care.

But I did care, and these ugly stretch marks bothered me.

I came across these stretch mark products by accident while scouting for Christmas gifts.  Since I now work from home and we live in Guiginto, Bulacan where malls are scarce (and rice fields are a plenty!)  I searched online for items to give to family and friends.  I came across Ms. Juleanna's  site which sold organic products in bulk.  Yes, by the liter and kilos and gallons only! And I thought, why not just repackage them and personalize the gift-giving a bit?

So along with the insect repellent sprays, aloe vera shampoos and goat's milk lotions, I ordered the rosehips and emu massage oil just wanting to try it out. Just a few days after applying the oil onto my arms, I noticed that the ugly red marks began to lighten.  After two weeks, even the silvery appearance of the stretch marks started to disappear.

That was when I first posted an FB shout out saying that I will soon be stretch marks free... and a multitude responded. I realized I wasn't alone, and I realized too that more people would benefit from me sharing these organic products than if I kept it to myself.

These rosehips and emu oil skin care items are not available commercially. Most of Ms. Juleanna's clients are spas and salons or companies who incorporate these oils into their products. She sells in bulk, (which means I pool orders first before sending her an email).  Over the past few weeks I have been sending small parcels to friends who like me are only too happy to bid stretch marks good riddance.

The reason I keep repeating this is because I am not going to hard sell these products. I will not be marketing the oils, soaps and lotions on a large scale.  So please do not be surprised if you receive an unlabeled tube of lotion; plain-looking bars of soap; or an amber bottle of rosehips and emu oil with a post it note. Not that I don't care about presentation, just that I am happier sharing it's positive results.

I hope to add more entries to this blog and be able to go over the different items in more detail.  My friends and I will be posting before and after photos as well.  No marketing gimmicks here. Everyone is welcome to share their stories, send in pictures, and give comments.  Send me an email at steph.copy@yahoo.com or annestephanie.cruz@gmail.com
